key has to match the imob (either both mirage or both lancer), and use the lancer ECU.
 
Air lol. Is fuel coming out the rail/injectors? Was it running before you pulled it out?
 
Yeah could be a *poo*load of air in the lines ^

Crank it for like 10seconds, wait 10seconds, crank again. Repeat again. Any Check Engine lights?
 
It was running before. I tested it and the car was driveable and the engine was all good

How do we deal with a *poo* load of air?

If the CEL is staying on, its the Imob. What did you change around the key/barrel/imob/ecu exactly
 
Hmmm

So 100% you've swapped in:
- the key from the lancer
- the key barrel from the lancer (obviously lol, to match the key)
- the imob from the lancer
- the ecu from the lancer.

No mirage electronics relating to the above?

Yup we've done all that 100%
there was no CEL when the engine was in the lancer
 
you could try to change the mirage injectors in, but it wont run very well (it could start up though, but run very rough).

What else what changed/what did you keep from the mirage?
 
Ahhhhhhhhhhhhh, did you change/touch the key reader at all? It surrounds the barrel. If thats damaged or unplugged, it cant read the key and it'll read like it got a bad imob.

Double check, the key reader is just a reader, but its very thin wire so it can break and not work. Swap back in the stock. Edit: you can just have the stock one plugged in and hold it over the key when you try to crank it again

Crank the car again, and then quickly take your spark plugs out. If they're wet, the injectors are firing, if theyre dry then injectors are not firing and there may be another issue
