The iPod killed off the WalkMan and DiscMan, Sony has not been the same since.rigby said:Apple has no niche in the audio world in terms of speakers and HU, what does that have to do with Sony? Sony was never the best. They are solid quality and reliable but not the best bang for your buck. Hence Meh Tier.

I've made sure the balance and fade are set in the middle, replaced the adapter loom imediately behind the Headunit, the fronts are brand new speakers and it happens in the rear no matter what speaker is used, so i'm fairly sure the problem is located under the steering wheel or could be a fault with the headunit which is getting a bit old. Might try and test it with a different headunit and see if the problem is still there. Any other ideas?
don't buy an ebay headunit, they are total garbage even though they claim to have every feature known to man in a unit worth only a few hundred. the 4x65 will be BS, you will be lucky to get more than 10wrms from it which is nothing. as mentioned you can find some nice brand name and not to mention AUS warranty units from retailers tht will be much more worth your time. we had some digital radio pioneer double dins with appradio and bluetooth etc for 489 with a free pioneer reverse camera. that is well worth it. I know you don't know much about the audio so take this one piece of advice even if you arent after an audiophile grade system, go to a store with people that know more than what the stickers say and you will get what you want and not get ripped off.rigby said:So I'm looking at buying a double DIN DVD HU, don't know whether this will fit flush. I assume it will and blah blah blah but can anyone confirm this? I also have an ISO adapter thingo to go with it so hopefully it's plug n play. Thoughts? I was looking at some other but this had the best sound output at 4x65W. Audio is not my forte.
