New engine

Ok basically I was being a *fudge*wit doing a burnout on a deserted road, just to see if my car actually could
I did
Buutttttt I blew the engine, its currently sitting in a mechanics in Warwick, and I'm scabbing wifi in the maccas down the road really pissed at myself.

Without lecturing/paying me out for being a *fudge*wit, what are my options?
New cylinder heads etc, whole new engine?
And is it possible to fit an evo 5 engine in it without to much cost?

What did you actually do to the engine do you know? Did you blow the welds off the manifold? :D

options, are fix watevers broken, new engine, new car, evo motor, cliff
 
so many FNF1 quotes could be used here but i wont....

the mechanic will tell u whats wrong, if u need to swap out parts then thats what u need to do or if the engines bust then new engine... its that simple
 
So the real question is, was your burnout any decent or what? Pics or it never happened!

you can pick up 4g93 engines pretty cheap.. like a few hundred

Sorry, couldn't help myself. Big fan of the fnf series.

Ah, from what I've heard, the evo 5 engine drops in with a few minor mods (correct me if I'm wrong).
Drop a 6a12 in, that's what I'm planning on doing when I get of my peez! :)

Evo 4 is the easier option if you get a halfcut. Will need different shafts going a 5 or 6. Also when u say cheap enough how big a budget are you talking? A halfcut Will cost about 3.5k to start with, you'll then need to buy a kit to lock the gearbox to fwd. Then there's labour to do everything, brake upgrade, getting it all mod plated/engineered, extra insurance, tuning etc etc. You're prob looking 10k at least to do it if you're not doing all the work yourself. For cheap stick to a g15 or 93.

Oh btw, musta been granny shifting and not double clutching like u should! :lol:

Omg yes. Surprised I haven't done this to mine yep the way I treat it. Just whack another 1.8 into it cheapest option there. Unless u had money to throw around.

I do skids all the time with my stock NA engine that is turbo (OMG THAT IS IMPOSSIBLE FOR AN NA ENGINE TO BE TURBO'D WITHOUT BLOWING UP!!!!!!11!!!one!!oneone1!!!1!) and it is still running fine. (Full stop because i am a *wally*y mofo and want to get my point across)

A burnout from a 69Kw engine, not a good mix buddy.. Probably go for the 4G93 atleast then when you 'try' to do a burnout, YOU ACTUALLY WILL :D And not blow the manifold lol..

Just go to fat burger , you can get a burger and fries for 2.95
