Also, I don't want a droid front bumper (personally not my thing) but anyone have any suggestions for back and front bumpers ?

Well I've looked on carmate and they're really expensive, like $450 for one kit and I don't really like a lot of them :/ lol

What type of kit do you like??

Carmate sells all of the kits on the market, just need to shop around and see who has the best deal, but be careful, theres a reason why other companys sell their kits cheaper

Me personally I have never bought a kit from Carmate, I bought mine from overseas, reason being is mainly due to being different from any other kit here in Oz, my front bar is 1 of a kind here :D

Oh wow thanks !! I'll check those sites out now :) and yeah I kinda want a kit no one else has..

I don't like the front bumpers with the massive holes for fog lights, and I don't like the rear bumpers which are like dragging on the ground lol

I'll show you some pics of cars with front bumpers I like (found them all on ride threads here)

This was from a guy called Josh, his ride thread. He's added all those neons and LEDS on his bumper but that's the bumper I like.. Nothing too flashy but looks awesome too :)

Definitely going to get the vertex kit.. I'll probably start with just the front bar and get the skirts and rear separate (financial reasons lol) as it's like $400 for the front bar alone but I'm gonna do some digging around and see if I can find a good deal.

What's the go with respraying ? Coz if I'm gonna get a kit, it's gonna be sprayed and I may as well just respray my whole car to give it a newer look... Looking into getting a pearlescent white.. Would look very clean. What do you guys think ? :)

A respray could cost Anywhere from $3000-7000 depending where you go.
Your probably better off just getting a good buff and polish to bring up a nice finish.
 
if you do the paint job yourself dont do a spray can paint job or the rollers. get yourself a proper spray gun and air compressor if you plan on doing a paint job yourself. you can still do a professional job, but it will require learning, tools, and money.
 
Haaha okay never mind about the respray lolololol. I just didn't wanna get a body kit painted new and it look newer than my actual car.. I'm afraid my paint on my car will look faded compared to a newly painted kit ?

when you have someone paint it, get the color matched and dont let them just look up the color code on the computer. that way it will be the same color as the rest of your car.
 
Hit your car with some restoration polish like 'Meguiars Ultimate Compound.'
That should take the dullness out of your paint, then the body kit won't look too different to your existing paint.
 
Dont recomend buying peice by peice of the vertex kit, its extremely low, and will look bad with the stock parts lol

I had the vertex kit, best kit to buy by far. I paid $2500 through fibresports for them to make, paint and fit the kit, paint my door handles and mirrors, and they did an amazing job.

Full regret wasting my money on that though. Too low, too fragile.
 
Yeah I'm not looking to pay that much for it haha that's like 2 months of work without spending any money for me (which, may I add, is impossible) lol
Love the vertex kit though :)
