EOI: Team-Heko Slimline Weather shields

i already have a set that i bought for $130 years ago, that is cracked in some places, put me down for a set. im keen. Just one thing, can you make sure that these have the METAL CLIPS?
 
Im %100 in if they are the metal clip (wedge) type. Ive tried the double sided tape ones was abit harsh on the window/motor.

Can you double check what type they are, tape/wedge :)
 
nah the metal clip ones are the bad ones lol, clips always fell out and i ended up loosing one on the highway. dangerous much. double sided tape ones seem to stick hard
 
So; are you still investigating the bonnet protectors? I'd be keen on one if its organized :D

I can vouch for the fragile nature of these wind deflectors! My first set was held together with superglue because the courier wasn't careful enough!!!!

I'd also like to add that; if you install these, do it properly! My first set eventually flew off the car when the 3M double sided tape died!!!!
 
Still waiting to hear back from the admins at ColtUK to know what they go is, he said he was looking into it all so not sure what he means exactly.

as for sedan models, it looks like the only one they don't do it for is the CE sedan and evo's of that chassis, which sucks, but it looks like they might do it for the CH (and CG I think).

I did also email team heko a little bit back (probably about 2 weeks ago) and got a response back saying that they don't ship to Australia, which is why I am going to this length to get them here.

I will also find out for sure today if they are clip or tape and will tell the guy that we are keen on some bonnet protectors too! and also more importantly, what can be done to ensure they all arrive here in one piece

Surprised about the support for this little operation, at this rate it looks like it will definitely go ahead! I'll keep you all posted :3
 
make sure u pm ryan (bossman) if this is going through to a group buy as all group buys need to be given the okay by an admin

QUICK UPDATE!

All seems to be moving along nicely, by the looks of things might start placing orders in the next few days so we can have the order placed before the end of the month! The admins at ColtUK also said that if you are apart of the facebook page and you see anything on there that you want to buy he is happy to collect it in your name and add it to the parcel (obviously if it is too big it will be in a seperate box but will be shipped off with the Heko's)

Also as for the ordering process the way we see best about doing this is setting a deadline for when orders need to be placed, then have a 2-3 day buffer for any mistakes etc. before the money is sent off to the ColtUK admin to process the order for us!

Also a small update on the pricing, it looks like it is going to be between $50-$70, basically the more people we have, the easier it will be to talk heko down on price for a group buy! so if you know anyone else who would be down send them a link to this page so we can get more numbers up!

I'll keep you guys posted on what happens next!
 
Is that on bonnet protector or just weather shields?

Ps metal clip ones are fine trent. Mine are metal clip. Couldnt be sturdier
