EOI: Team-Heko Slimline Weather shields

CE owners abandoning ship because "they aren't the right style" while CC owners would drown an infant for the same product.
 
I think the supplier ended up being crazy or something. Michael can verify. Don't think it's going ahead
 
Something along the lines of the supplier not giving a bulk-order discount and postage issues
 
yeah essentially it was an issue of a few things, firstly, heko themselves would only give a bulk discount at around 2000 units, which is a bit much. Secondly, getting them into the country would actually be super expensive as it was turning out, and if anything broke on the way, there would be nothing we could do as it wasnt coming from the manufacturer, so we'd be up *poo* creek there. The last thing was distribution, I'd have to get them in, then find boxes and send them fof, again, costing a fair bit, and as someone who cant really afford to be even more than $20 out of pocket at any time, if I made a miscalculation anywhere along the way, I'd be screwed.

Michael had a similar alternative but didn't get as much attention so the subject got dropped


however, if anyone is keen, I can give out the name of the guy i was chatting to if you want some and have him send you specifically a set, but just not through me
 
....did noone think to ask for some samples before comitting? These manufacturers with MOQ's are usually open to offering up samples if you are willing to pay ;) ;)
