DIY Black Tail Lights (image heavy)

yeh, true that, i was just thinking with a really light coat it wouldnt be so bad, i wonder if ozzy has ever had loads of trouble of his tails, cause ther pretty dark,
bah! stuff it, im just gonna leave em black, too much stuffing around with anything else
 
Ozz barely has any trouble with 'em - but as Ryan said, the cops probably just leave him alone because he's an old fart :lol: (Paraphrasing of course).

I have a pair of tinted, normal and dark altezza's - not game enough to cruise with the tinted ones, the P plates are enough of an cop-magnet anyway.

yeah Ozz would have a greater chance of sweet talking a cop, being a P-Plater you are just asking for trouble. However, you would possibly be ok with a very light coat but ofcourse I don't condone it! :lol:

on mlga, mikey (moonskies) got done for tinted tails. he had the black/chrome ones. and his tint wasnt heavy either :( so i sold him my stocko's for 30$.

i recomend leaving em, dont risk tinting em n then loosing that good work uv just done to em cause of a defect :(

i managed to break mine too cause i was impatient and didnt bake it enuf
but luckily for mine it just cracked it and didnt break off

Not spare Altezza's, just the stock lights.

But I didn't like the look of the Altezza's anyway so I thought I'd just screw around with 'em.
 
 
I wasn't going to go for black, I was going to go same as body colour.

But I cbf now... might just burn them.
 
but if you already have chrome ones and are after somthing diff without spending much money
 
i like altezza's more then stock tails. sometimes they suit the car more. such as mine. which is all black n white now.

but as for ur car, the stock tails definatly suit it more
 
Im over Altezza's, theyre bl**dy everywhere these days, thats why I just stayed stock and tinted them black. Had no trouble with them so far.
 
I think painting the interior of the head/tail light surrounds (where the black or chrome is normally) using the car's body colour, sounds very interesting and unique.
