I'm going to be putting power windows in my car hopefully this weekend maybe next and I do not have the wiring to plug it strait in. So I'll make a short diy to ad to the current one with how to do it without changing the dash loom. Just gotta work out which way the relay goes... one pin is constant one pin to ignition one to ground and one with power to switches. Just not sure what one is what.

Will be keen on this

Having a DIY for the dash wiring for those who only get the door looms would be good as wreckers mostly don't like people ripping wires out the dash unless they buy the whole dash.

Not much point in that, would be a bigger pain in the ass than just doing a MR loom swap.
Doing a dash/interior loom swap DIY however maybe a the better option to get the same result. Your also not having chopped wires here and there either.

I'm not sure what wreckers you go to, but I've never heard of a wrecker saying you can only have the loom if you buy the whole dash. If they give you crap like that it's probably because it's a fiddly and time intensive thing they don't want to do.

I'm just saying when I did mine I just stripped out the wires I needed from the dash wiring loom, but that was for a CC and I wasn't looking at a dash swap. Much easier to just feed the wires through and tie them up out the way.

So a wiring guide would be good for some who can't get a dash loom or don't need one.

Buy a bible, see the wiring diagrams

Bibles don't tell you how to do aftermarket/non-standard mods.

That's why.

Can we get a diy on how to organise items posted from other states. That may just be the best diy on here and then sticky it to the top of the forum page.

Maybe we need a DIY on how to do DIYs? ;)

Thank you, putting power windows into a CC is not covered by my Haynes manual, it has a wiring diagram for them but unless you're a sparky it's of little use.
A DIY would help wire them up the right way.

Anyone have a DIY clutch replacement?

If it has not be done, can some one please do it?

Thanks in advance.

Aftermarket? Get rails to suit the car, bolt them to the seat. Bolt them in the car Done.

DIY how to install aftermarket seats into the car , not sure if its been done cbf checking :/
buy adapter plates to suit your car, then bolt adapter plates to the aftermarket seats rails, then bolt into car, takes all of 10 mins to do 2 seats
