i guess it could be a good idea to have a DIY request thread
where people can request DIY's to be made.

maybe you want to know how to change spark plugs, or install headers or how to make an intake

request it here and you may get soem generous person who when they do it will write up a DIY for you
or someone might know where an already existing DIY is for it and can direct you there

this is all to encourage people to have a go and build their car
i know like me alot of people on here are pretty broke most of the time and labour is a beach
so diying is a great way to save some money and get some experience
 
i would love a full diy (including about 4 billion pics) on climate control yo'
 
-Differential/final drive replacement
-Probably not hard, but dash removal/re-installation
 
I'll fix up my battery relocation DIY as it was not the best and have since added extra supports and better connections etc
 
Central locking in a Mirage.

From what I can see it will be a PITA to route the wires through the OEM tubes and where to mount the modules.....

Its not too hard, just very fiddly.

+1 I would love this, i have been thinking about it, not sure weather to go the universal kit from ebay or try find am oem one that will fit my lancer

check under you steering wheel for the following plug in my post

if its got space for that black relay i'm pretty shore it has the wiring in place for power windows. all u need then is that black relay, door looms, door trims, switches and window regs.

if it doesn't have space for the relay then its a dash/interior out dash/floor loom job
 
well in that case maybe a wire loom replacement cause im worring that the power windows i just order are not going to work if i dont have the relay thats required
 
i think henry said somewhere that if u dont have the correct relay you can make a circuit from fuses and cabling or something like that

maybe that would be a good one for those that dont have the correct wiring and dont no how to replace a car wire loom
