Paul I realise this, jsut trying to build a knowledge base in advance, it's not going to happen for a while, I think it may be a Christmas present for myself :p

would I HAVE to get coilovers? or could I just get a really rigid shock and spring setup?
 
coilovers as you almost need it solid stiff to pull the look off right, with springs and shocks youll end up rubbing on the tyre to much and have a blow out

no lol, but when my grandparents kark it (they're both very near death) my family will be getting 3 mil, i get access to 50'000 straight up, and my bro wil when he hits 18

pro-tip2: 50k would be better put into your savings, by time your 25 your interest earned could probably pay cash for a hefty house deposit like your grans would want

also last time i checked this was a car forum not a life protip forum..
