Whats more...well after this discussion I was kinda motivated to drive a manual so I went for a spin in my mates 06 Astra and boy there is a massive difference in control and speed which I couldn't recall after driving manual 2-3 years ago.
So to an extent I do agree with what your saying about manual over auto. Each to their own opinion.
