It can be done very easily. As I said, 100% legal. No mod plate or paperwork to be done. All you need to do is make sure the safety cert gets the 4g93p engine number, same with rego/insurance
 
93p is still fun as a daily but you'll still get chopped by newer falcons and commos etc. Will leave them for dead in the corners though. 93t is a pretty optimal daily but obviously as a turbo car you risk reliability over NA unless you've thrown a bit of money into the car. Both are straight swaps, g93t requires mod plate/engineering though. And a brake upgrade.

So you 100% sure that a 93p in a cc will be alright and legal when going for a full rego inspection if the stuff listed above is done? Just wanted to double check as I'm in the process of potentionally buying a 93p :)
 
Wanting to know what body parts are interchangeable between the ce sedan and coupe. Meaning do sedan side skirts/rear bumper fit on a coupe? And do sedan tail lights fit?
 
Rear bumper (and thus rear pods/lips), rear bootlid and rear tail lights are all inter-compatible.

Skirts a no-go - completely different design/length.

Okay so what type of oil do I use? It's the 2.4L engine. I've been to repco and supercheap and they have both given me completely different answers and I've tried googling it but I get different answers again. So far I've been told 5w20 10w30 5w30 and 15w40. Are any of these correct
 
Need to rebuild g93 bottom end from a cc. Any references or any stuff that I should know before I start buying??? Any specific kits or parts I should go with or websites?

Standard OEM gear is fine, maybe ARP head studs though. Cometic MLS head gasket. If you're waiting more power out of it later down the track may as well go forged rods and pistons. CP pistons and Spool rods are the popular choices. TOG rocker cover gasket set too.
 
Thinking of going 92 Pistons as I have them lying around. Need to know if turbo cams on a g93 (sohc block but going dohc) will benefit of disadvantage ?? I've seen on one forum that you will gain but on another that you wont

Edit: does a g92 clutch bolt up to a g93. The exedy part numbers are different but the 1.6 and 1.8 flywheel are interchangeable. so is there any hope to get a g92 clutch on the g93?
