Official too lazy to search, noob friendly thread.

Buy replacement CCFL rings that are the same size and better brand, then you can see them during the day too

get the retrofit source ones and then you can change the colours with a remote like a g4ng$t4

HiI have a 2002 lancer gli 1.8 - 5 speed 4 door.
Is GLi the model I need to give to purchase spares? It seems a strange question but when I search for gli on eba nothing much comes up.

I also need info on putting a tow bar onto it but it has lowered springs bod mod.

Generally speaking "CE Lancer Sedan" should get you on the right track when searching. If its engine stuff look for "4g93" (the engine name).

Btw welcome!

It's what it is, if you have a look through the forum you will find all the cars that are the same as yours under CE lancer

As for the lowering springs, you can find a thread about that on the forum...

Is there a DIY or post somewhere on how to do it? im sure i can modify the headlight to install ones with a remote.

How to do a retrofit there is, jazza made one. It'd be the same principle and then all you'd have to do is place it where you want, adhere how it says to in he packet and then wire up as per instructions. Youtube it if all else fails. Have a look at www.theretrofitsource.com for some ideas man

So I got these in yesterday.

Feels so much better than king springs! But the front left is pretty noisy, assuming it's on it's way out?

I pulled this little yellow twin fuse clip out while working on wiring up some footwell lights, clock and radio reset which is no biggy, but when I started it to park up, the engine was idling way too high. I'm assuming I've reset the ECU, is that correct and is it normal??
