so i thought id make a thread where everyone can show there interiors off, and just explain what they did and how, (eg, painted with 2pac/cans of paint, retrimmed in leather)

and then what your plans are for the future. (keep conversation to a minimum on thread )

heres mine to start it off, basic as and nothin special

Picture536.jpg

What i did- isotta steering wheel, leather gear boot, ebay shifter knob, xracing short shiffter(cut down) , cup holers from luie, super cheap pedals, and neons at footwells, seat covers from kmart, and painted bits of trim in matte black plastic and vynil paint.

Plans- bucket seats, black carpet, door card and roof retrim in black suede.

Here my current interior:

snc00099c.jpg

Includes:

-All inner door trims redone in red micro-suede
-All door trim, steering wheel, dash trim and door switch/handle panels sprayed in gloss black
-outer instrument cluster sprayed in matt black
-handmade red micro-suede gear boot
-red pinstripe detailing on gloss black panels and around the instrument clusters
-gear knob (put on backwards; feels better when shifting)

Everything was done by myself.

Upcoming:

-Convert to 4 seats only (lightweight fixed buckets up front, lightweight recliner buckets in the rear)
-Complete dash, inner door panels and central tunnel redesign in CF then wrapped in either black micro-suede with red detailing or other material to make it feel soft
-Gel based gear boot and custom designed gear stick set up

there standard on MR's if you find some in the wreckers there easy to install, cars with out them just have a plastic cover screwed where they would be

nope, look for an MR at the wreckers near u, these cup holders are specific to MR lancers and they sit underneath ur cig lighter (not in the din)

does look like it would fit below your HU, but it would be annoying having your drinks in front of the HU

Here is my ugly interior :(

Dont mind the shift light, i couldnt decide where i wanted it lol

All my interior is pretty easy to do and not devastatingly different or remarkable. All things you see, have been done by me alone.
Leather retrim, 7" HU replacement, leather in door inserts, 3M CF vinyl on trim, VRX leather steering wheel and flappy paddles, PLX OBD Gauge and CF Pod.

My Interior:

All stock MR Black interior, but with a set of Recaros from the Evo 8 MR added,

I was thinking of replacing the MR pattern in the seats and door trims with black suede, and the pillars and roof, but decided i'd rather spend the money on something else, still love the look and feel of the interior as it is

retrim your pillars and roof yourself
i did mine with this nice black material (black suiting material #2 from spotlight), got all the pillars done in one day and only cost around $15 for fabric as i had a tub of glue and stuff already
then just spray the dome light fitting black to match
do it all in a weekend cheap as chips and looks great (better satisfaction doing it yourself :p )
