I lowered just the front more for test purposes and not spending much money as i wanted to see if i could adapt to the harshness of ride that lowered springs provide, im glad i've only lowered the front as shorter springs suck
surely most will endorse coilovers, which are superior, but you will get a decent set of coils and good shocks, for about $750. If you fit them yourself, you still have big change from coilover price, still with decent handling.
Cheers for the offer Gianni, but am looking into buying new ones.
Thanks for the advice Tryg, i am probably going to go shocks and springs and install them myself are they very difficult to change, just a few bolts and the towers come out?
Two on top. Then two onto your hubs for front. Rears is two on too and one through control arm. Very simple job. Takes me 15 mins to change all 4. Half an hour if I need to swap the springs
Spring compressors you can buy for 45$ on eBay. Getting shocks in and out is easy, just make sure both sides of car are up or the sway bar will hold the hub up too high to get it back in. Springs are easy with the compressor. Just be carefully they are on properly. If they flick off it will be deadly :s
