How low are Lows and Super Lows

and last question, will i need to buy a camber kit as well? Do the super low springs mess with the position of the wheels at all

no and no.
just be sure to get a good wheel alignment afterwards.

if you still want to know how low.
Lows dropped height 30mm from standard.
Superlow 40-50mm

for inches divide by 25.4

to be honest i have never driven anything that handles exceptionally good with superlow springs.
even with brand new kyb shocks its far from impressive.

and Ive done plenty that have been lower than superlows. None were recommend and the owners just care for the height and bought the springs on ebay/forums/used/new/themselves.
jumboz custom 3inch drop
jumboz custom 3.5inch drop
somewhere in there a 4inch drop with lowered springs
kmac 3inch drop
kmac 2.5inch drop
These are all custom lowered springs lower then any off the shelf springs you can get and some of them had perfectly good shocks in them.
I would think they are blown but i took them out and they are fine. They did not have signs of being almost dead. Sourced some Kings Lows and voila absorbs bumps properly.

Key here is if you lower the spring height too much it means you have to use a shorter spring.
I dont care either it has progressive coils or coils whose job is just to keep the spring captive (become dead coils with static weight)
When you use a superlow spring or lower the shock absorber does not work effectively at that position.
Such springs are never that stiff. Only slightly stiffer than standard so Oem style shocks still work just not slammed until its almost sitting on bump stops.
Stiff spring with standard shock or worse OEM worn shocks will ride like a pogo stick.

Cheers hens, so ill just start out with some super lows. Luckily I have a really good Tyre Centre around the corner who does pretty good alignments :D

Then follow with some shocks, there are a few good delas on ebay :D

Thanks a lot for your help everyone, much appreciated!!

Looking on Andy's Autosport the other day, I noticed a thing called a coil sleeve. This looked like a spring with a base on the bottom. Are these meant for Coilovers or can you replace just the spring with these?
