DIY ce lancer blue dash lights

i got mine all done looking pretty and all :p
green/blue, the color goes well with my HU, im pleased granted my tpedo and all that could be a bit brighter, but im not too fussy

gonna get 2 footwell neons and maybe 2 for the doors :p
 
That green looks Awesome! i like how u got the needle blue. i think i wanna make the needles on mine just back to standard white light to break up the all blue look..
 
i went down to autobarn before looking for some, only have the LED bulbs but, does anyone no if they are any good?
 
search T10 and T5 led on ebay, costs ~$7 for everything u need, just get a 10x pack of each bulb then u'll have some extra
autobarn will ripp u off, and it'll cost u more than $60 ti fo it all getting them from autobarn

ebay =$7 landed
autobarn= $60+++

i kno which one i'd choose
 
from what iv heard, the autobarn ones are crap, but i wouldnt know because i got a bunch of t5 and t10 globes off ebay and they are pretty epic, none are dead, all work 100% in a wide radius, and did my dash and aircon cluster for about $10
 
just over 10 bucks for 40 bulbs :D. ordered, yea was going to cost me 60 for 8 at autobarn


cesario how did you get just the needles different colurs
 
he put coloured paper behind the dials, and he has clear needles whereas some ppl have orange needles

did u get wide angle bulbs licky?
geez 40 is overkill but for that price its wiked, you only need leik 6 T5's and 4 T10's from memory
 
damn, i really gotta make a diy for it :p
all i did was get blu bulbs, and place green paper behind the dials, cause the needles get light of the perspex channels, so in turn the needles stayed blue and the dials went green, granted the paper i used was regular a4 thickness and was prolly a little thick so the dials were slightly dull, but it does me just fine, for better results i reccomend crate paper, or celophane, i havnt really tried them out, so im not sure how it will all work, but when you do yours make a diy :p
 
looks good, but yea for 40 bulbs i cant complain, i want to do red needles with the blue background
 
Found out one of the bulbs i bought doest actually work! so cut especially payin so much when i coulda just got em from ebay. grr so i put the original bulb back in replacing the one that doesnt work and looks crap now its like all blue with amber colour in the middle :/ ... FAIL lol.
Time to get some from ebay.

i looked at the aircon n centre dash LED light spots this arvo. couldnt get ANY bulbs out. :( the ones where the aircon is are all in super hard. cant get em out n my hand dosnt fit well enough to try unplug em.

and the other two centre ones i couldnt get out. :(
