DIY ce lancer blue dash lights

So i used 4 x T10 bulbs and 6 x T5 bulbs.

To unplug the little bulb holder things just twist them.
and pull out the original bulb and put in ur new one
heaps simple. i found that when i put them in and then tested them
some didnt work. but the ones that didnt work i just pulled out
and turned them around 180 degrese and put em back in and they were all good.

i really should do mine, but then i was just thinking of replacing all my guages with drift idrium series ones and then just changing aircon lights
 
lol, i have blue now, so sick of it, the bulbs are nice and bright but they turn the needles a really dull purple which makes them hard to see
i've already ordered some white ones , coz im sick to hell of not being able to see my tach, fuel and temp

how much did it cost u mate?
coz my 1st kit for just the cluster was $20 then about another $15 for the rest of it
but now i have learnt a smarter way to buy them, i got everything for $7 with lots of bulbs to spare
i bought a 10x pack of T10's of ebay cost $3 free post, which is more than enuf T10 bulbs
then i got a 10x T5's pack off ebay again for $4 free postage, so i recomend buying these packs its alot cheaper that the other dash kits out there

Sweet deal u got. I bought mine from autobarn all up cost me $59 lmfao nan bought em for me so all good :p i can see everythin clear as with the blue. The needles on speedo a bit dull but everythin else fine. I didnt wanna buy frm ebay lol coz i wanted them now didnt wanna wait ahah.
 
ebay is leet for cheap 12v electrical, everyone says its bad quality but for $7 with lots of bulbs to spare im not complaining, autobarn is such a rip for that sort of stuff
i'd rather wait then have to pay 600%+ more
just gotta kno what ur looking for

i just noticed u have bad leds for lighting up the dash
u have just like the standard dome shaped ones (from what i can see in the pic)
u should have got wide angle ones like this

thay are not the full dome they have a dip in the top which distributes/spreads light better than the domies
bit hard to see in the pic sorry

will do this when i get green LEDS :)

also, did you make sure you got your positive & negitive right inside the dash? LEDS are a diode so they will only work one way
 
Yehh i gotta check my lights coz as u said they onli work one way lol. will be checkin next time im free. probs on weekend. u got green neons in ur boot aye
 
I used to have green neons in my boot lol, i gave em to a mate. jump on the minichat and ill tell yah how i wired them up
