another question that popped up -

with the DIN pockets, I know most CH models have the 1DIN and VR-X being 'special' and have that 2DIN

is it a straight swap, assuming that I have the 2DIN pocket and bottom part for the climate control?

also last one with this, do LHD and RHD matter? or are they all facing forward. not slightly towards the driver, etc?
 
5 stud setup use it off a vrx - ive got the full setup sitting in my shed which people keep bailing on buying -.-

The climate control unit can't drive a normal air conditioner setup at all

maybe i should've elaborated more..

what I was planning on doing, if i was to proceed with getting a CH and if it had a 1DIN pocket, I would want to change it to a double DIN.

From what I could tell, its simply just disconnecting the controls from the harness, then move it lower. Assuming that the lower panel is included to what im going to buy

yeah but with this, you'll have to cut around the a/c controls to make it sit flush and then find a way to secure everything..

I get you, I'll keep hunting til I find some at surplus shops.. :D

I think I've decided on the CH, just cant point my finger on a 2.0 or 2.4

You can also have a go in mine for dat non-mivec powahh, see which one you like best ;) I'm also in brisbane, and regularly chop 2.4ls
