CH 04 4G94 Torque!

Ok ill look at what i can do with the TB ill measure mine an see what size it is if its less than 60mm ill look around for a 60mm TB

it IS less than 60mm no need to measure
go to ur local wreckers and grab one off a magna... or get one off rpw
then bore the manifold lip to match and hey presto power

Because you'll need not only upgrade the TB, but computer and that as well. Plus, at times the drive by wire can experience 'throttle lag' due to it being electronically controlled.

I haaaaaaaaate the throttle lag so so so much. It's like press pedal. Nothing. Press pedal more. Nothing. 1 2 BOOM. You get thrown back in the seat because the computer sudden recognizes that the throttle went directly from a bit down to all the way down. Hate it.

A throttle body off a magna TR (1991-1994) is what you want. Port match your manifold to 60mm, or as said above, grab a 4g93 manifold since they are better designed and port match that to 60mm. I just done this upgrade on my 1.8 ce it is a bit of a stuff around especially getting your idle corrected, you just need patience and need to know what your doing or at least be willing to do research to correct things after all your messing with the air flow volume which confuses the ecu.
