CH 04 4G94 Torque!

high flow air filter - replacment pannel filter, k&n pod, apexi pod, A4 racing pod
larger throttle body - 60mm magna throttle body with port match
cold air intake - pipe filter down to bumper, or bring cold air up into a sealed containment unit
lightened parts (light rims, underdrive pully, flywheel) - fidnanza flywheel, OBX underdrive pully, jasma pully, light 15" rims
extractors- rpw, hens, ebay extactors
port and polish - take head of grind plenum and head, polish it smoothe for better flow
 
res thanx heaps for that i will use this! im hoping to do the piping next week into the body kit. as for the throttle body i think this might be the next one ill look at this
 
the ch's already have a 60mm tb i think. could be mistaken but thats what i was told about my 4g69, but it might be different with the 4g94

i have doubts the 69 has a 60mm tb, but its possible
the 94 definitly does not
 
i think the 69 might because if it didnt that would be the upgrade yeah?? but rpw offer a 65mm tb for the 69
 
94's run a 50-55mm I believe, which can be bored to 60mm.

4G69's use drive by wire, 4G94's dont. Not a good upgrade.

69 and 94 tbs are not interchangable
 
94 TB is 54mm, you could go ahead and throw on a 93 inlet manifold ported to a 60mm TB. A lot of people in the states were doing this, also delete the coolant lines. Pretty much follow the 1.5 -1.8 mod guide.
 
Because you'll need not only upgrade the TB, but computer and that as well. Plus, at times the drive by wire can experience 'throttle lag' due to it being electronically controlled.
 
Hmmm still a little confused but i get the point that i cant drop a 60mm tb in 94 unless i change the manifold. however im not sure if i wanna do that. so i will work on other torque mods.
 
u sure are confused, you CAN put a 60mm tb on ur manifold, but what matty is saying is the 4g93 manifold with a 60mm tb will perform better
 
And you can bore you 94 TB to get to 60mm I believe, RPW do this I believe.

I'm going to attempt a 93 mani + 60mm tb on mine to see if it'll improve performance. Since I feel the 94 TB is not really what I want...

Also a 93 cam will give slightly more power. If you want more significant gains you have to go further and do things like the above. You want torque grab yourself a 4G92 gearbox or the gearset out of a 4G69.
 
if its torque you want buy aarons magna, 700nm of torque. NA lancer wont beat that

id love to do a gb change to mannual but im not sure where to start i know i obviously needa gb but what to get where to get it like im lost :( ????
