CE Coupe build plans :)

Trust me man that shifter is just basic haha. 330mm. I know a guy who has a billet shifter in his hilux that is almost touching his roof lining.... Haha

Thanks man, I really do hope the plans work out. Going to take a while but once its done its going to be insanely awesome. Well in my opinion :D
 
So I re did my plan and parts list.

Parts:
4G93 (1.8L) Conversion $1,200.00
Coilovers $1,100.00
Hub conversion incl all 4 disc $550.00
Intake $240.00
Extractors $250.00
Exhaust $600.00
Clutch Kit (Exedy) $225.00
MR cluster $250.00
MR skirt $200.00
Evo 4 Rear Bar $220.00
Front Lip $35.00
Wheels and Tyres $1,300.00 (17"-xxr, dtm, rpf1)
Weathershields $85.00
Roof Wing $160.00
Vinyl Wrap (3Mx1.5M) $100.00

Vinyl wrap for the hood and the roof for now. If i dont like it she will go back to silver completely.

More to add to the list but so far the total cost is sitting near $6500.

Im happy to put all this together cos im sure she will turn out nice. No maaad 6a swap but I dont think its too bad for the price. Hopefully if i talk to the right people I can knock a few hungie off the total cost :D

What do you guys think?
 
My $1200 conversion, comes with extractors, exhaust, exedy HD clutch and MR cluster, i also have new Brembo 276mm dics with Magna calipers for $200.
 
Ah sweet. That's an excellent deal. John has me covered on hubs and brakes but I'll let you know if I'm keen on the brembos and magna calipers.

I'm gonna have to talk to you John about wheels and offsets. Been studying that *poo* for an entire day just for my car and what would fit haha

Same wheels fit as the 4 stud stuff? Just go through peoples threads about what wheels they have.
 
I was referring to how far I can push the limits. I have been thru some threads but I'm still thinking for my application.
 
@ Rigby - u said get a short shift from the UK is there any real difference from RPW's shifter and there in Perth as u know and easier to get (time wise) im interested as im looking at getting one of theirs

And im in agreeance with Rigby u'll never get ur money back but the way i see it if ur going to spend big cash on the car u love why would u want to sell? turn the car into what u want and drive it/ keep it :thumbup:
And im not going to say anything about the shifter u got as uve already been advised lol

yes there is a HUGE difference... RPW charge 3-4x the price and their kit is NON-adjustable to suit how you drive.

the UK short shifter is substancially cheaper and a far better product as far as a street car goes, it also have incredible adjustability to you can adjust it to how you like to shift

Josh's coupe has pushed the limit so to speak aswell so.. thats about it. Or johns.
 
Yea johns coupe is pretty radical on fitment.

I wouldnt mind the link to that shifter as well if you have it res. If not its all g I'll try find it and post up for boost the beast
