CE Coupe build plans :)

Im gonna have to think about it. Its really tempting to do the 4g93 swap for that price and do my mods as planned but at the same time..... ch for 4K?
Again im just thinking hardcore with where its better to spend the money and on what. Low wage apprentice hahaha
I do love the shape of my coupe tho and Johns coupe is just fuuuuark deece haha :)
 
Well thanks guys :) looks like ce is continuing then. Hopefully she turns out the way I want her to. I'll start up a build thread as soon as parts are organised and ready to be put in :)
 
So I've done a head gasket in the 4g15 so defs time for the 1.8 conversion. Only thing is I go on hols again in 2 months so till then she will have to hold out haha. Only milky oil so far with a bit of power loss so driving it to work 10mins away shouldn't be a problem ... I hope.
 
Hahaha only one time man and that was quite scary in my car. It was roughly below 170. Another mate of mine reckons he's had it up to 200 on the highway.... :/ not sure bout THAT. And it's not the green and black one that I told you bout before.

4g94 is awesome. CH is awesome. I am not at all biased because I own one... but seriously yes aftermarket parts are harder to find and it is very frustrating :(
 
CE FTW ;) you should definitely look at getting a spoiler ;) the view out the back is glorious, and Rigby will tell you the same thing ;)

And please please kick the dildo shifter to the curb ! How the hell do you even change gears with that thing right up in your face ? >_< lol.

What is your sound system like by the way ? And have you had any thoughts towards minor things like retrofit projector headlights or angel eyes or stuff like new seats or changing the trims on your door cards ? Make zee interior very noice.

I find the mirror bar fine. My seat is all the way back and a bit reclined cos im too tall for the car hahaha. My knees are still bent when I press the clutch haha. But yea the mirror is in perfect position at the moment. I had to remove my visors cos i re did the brackets in the visor bolt holes.

The dildo shifter is on for giglles haha. shift aint to bad considering its almost like 2km every time i change gears haha. Its gonna go. Looking at a short shift thing from hens with the bend in the shifter.

For the interior Im thinking re trim door cards when I get MR ones that have the window switches cos im going elec windows :)

The sound system was in before I got the car. Its a tape deck sony xplod with some random back speakers that actually have good bass. For an old headunit that has quite a few functions and older speakers they do quite well. Not too fussed on sound tho. Probs gonna do Xplod touchscreen for the look, Sub amp and some pioneer speakers front and back.

Ordered an ez lip for the front bar and ill install that when I respray the bumper and get a new silver hood cos I kinda f#*ked up the gloss black hood. Might even just wrap the roof and the hood. Carbon fiber or just satin black?? Opinions?

Buying Johns 5 stud conversion soon and saving up for a set of work cr kai or rota grid classics.

Also hopefully in 2 months ill have the 1.8 converion off t-nol.

Coming along. Any ideas appreciated :)
 
Can't forget bc coilovers and the roof wing :) I'm gonna be doing another excel write up of parts and cost and I'm sure to share a photo haha gonna be some dough spent on the ol' girl ;)
 
I was looking at doing a short shifter too, would looks loads better as well so if you get that done before me, let me know how hard/easy it was :D

There's *poo* loads of DIY's on here for changing your door trims so that will be easy enough :) any colour scheme on the car interior/exterior that you're going for ? I'm going for the whole white on white with stealth black headlights look with orange accents (calipers, wheel nuts, door trim, number plates and LED lights). Your car would look mad with a greenish turquoise colour for your door trims, similar to some Mirage models. :p

Do you have a particular sub/amp that you want or just anything that's cheap ? :p

Ez lip will look hectic, I almost did that but decided I won't coz I'm getting a VTX bodykit.

If you wrap the roof and the hood, you should wrap the top of your boot as well, just a suggestion. But personally I wouldn't, keep a nice silver car with some hot ass black accents (ez lip and maybe side skirts and pods).

Have you got a CAI ?

Also you should think about getting some window weather shields on your doors, they look pretty good on silver coupes, check out Ashiies one, she's got a nice silver lancer :thumbup:

Painting your door frames black always turns out well too ;)

You should also maybe think about getting silver side mirrors and door handles of that's something you wanna do too :) I'm still on the hunt for white ones for myself to no avail :/

I saw a white lancer fit a civic spoon lip that looks amazeballs on the coupe. I want to go bride doorcard trims with blue footwell lighting and some car park underglow haha also I'll be 're doing my corner lights Amber with a custom angel eye circuit in the headlights. Not copying but a lot of inspiration is coming from johns coupe as in style wise. Dunno why but I'm loving his blue coupe.

On my parts list I have Mr side skirts and evo 4 rear pods that will be all silver with the black ez lip. Red brake calipers with slotted rotors and metallic blue lug nuts. I'll draw up a concept and post up when I get a chance
