what are peoples idea's on them?

and where is the best place too put after market gauges?
 
lol im not gonna get like a boost gauge or a 5inch tacho :p im just gonna get a volt meter or somthing for my subs

If you only want a voltmeter then why not something like this:

Any audio shop that's a Stinger dealer can order it in, even JB HiFi!! I picked a blue one (they also make a red one) up for my car and it's a nice little unit! IMO it would look better than a circular analog gauge...
 
i assume u have a CE?
this should fit nicely and fits 2x 2" or 52mm gauges
just replaces the stock shrowd around ur dials

i was thinking along the lines of this, its black when the lights dont light up and it will suit the blue led's that i will be putting in my gauges :)
 
for the volt one it might depend on what gadge power cable you have,eg- ihave 0 gaudge and that probly wont fit up in the dash like you lookin at nor would i want to run it up there.
 
You'd just run a small single wire from the amp to your gauge so that it can measure voltage. Digital voltmeters have high impedance inputs so they draw very little power from the source they are measuring, hence voltage loss/drop from using a small wire will be extremely insignificant. My voltmeter gets it's power and measures from the cigarette lighter supply. Compared to my Fluke multimeter accross te battery terminals, it's readings are spot on!!
 
... all i can say is it looks cool but, money could have been spent on making the outside of the car better
 
good stuff, glad to see its still happening, personally i think the outside of ur car is the part that ppl look at the most so it should be as straight and clean as possible
 
she's a pig so i really dont care :p and i have a mate so soon my interior will be black white white trim, and not that rough look either
