4g93 to a 4g63t engine swap

yeah you'll need to do a full exhaust though, stock is too restrictive

I already have extractors with a 2" exaust. By the sounds of it this conversion will be something that will run the bank dry and end up half finished (like most government projects) Being a student this car is well needed and I cannot aford to have it in the shed for longer than a couple weeks. So, what model turbo would i be looking to buy for my g93 CE, and are there any problems that i should be looking out for?

t28 turbo, comes off a stock s15. with exhaust though, to fit the turbo you need a manifold so that replaces your extractors and 2" is too small for turbo, 2.5-3" is good. Isn't stock around 2" anyway?

So what sort of power figures can you expect from a SOHC 93T compared to a cm5a?

Depends on the boost.. Both Joshy and Hieu have dyno graphs on here take a look.. I think 148kw vs 135kw?? Something like that

depends what turbo you use on the 93t, it you use a t28 i was just talking to henry and you should be able to get 160kw with stock cam. cm5a has quite a small turbo, so less but there's always things you could do to increase that figure

Then u will need to get an aftermarket ECU, then tune, will still be around $1500

Save your cash man, either buy 1 already done or save up more nad get an EVO... EVO6s are goin for 12k these days

You should of got an evo Mike

I should have yes, but too late turn back now :p

Plus i like working n spending my hard earned cash on it

You should have stuck with the white rage :D

White rage got written off.
Which wasnt entirely bad.

4g63 and dont turn back

people forget my power figure was ran on 95 fuel and a 2'' exhaust. an exhaust alone would see me atleast 10 kw more id think. with a simple tune, 170 atw is very acheavable.

Or even use that body seeing its already engineered for the turbo engine

Me and my brother just did this coversion over a few weekend. Lots of work but do-able for about 6k.
It made 130kw atw on gate pressure (7-8psi). No boost controller (not even stock).
Haha, its a little rocket.
