Title says it all there was ones res recommended for like 400ish but I'm having issues with the seller now. So now I'm after the cheapest set possible. I've searched as much as I can on the net and can't seem to find anything decent so if you guys know of anything or are selling please let me know all help is much appreciated.

Also I request that MOR31 do not reply to this post at all thank you.

cheap coils for $400 ish?
well for that price you would have to get second hand
it is also possible to get (not sure if all are the same) but CC lancer coils and CE top hats, that should work (i think)

but $400 isnt much of a budget for coils, springs yes, but coils hard :p

i have to agree with ces here, $400 isnt really a budget for coilovers.. the only coilovers that you will find for that price will be ones that are screwed and need a rebuild, or really average 2nd hand ones. save up 2-400 more and you will be in with more of a shot

I might have mis typed I was going to buy ones for 400 my bud is 800 worst case but I want super cheap.

i say goodluck champ.....BUT i wont leave it at that cause im going to say this in the nicest way possible....dont be a tightass & save up for a decent set cause i bet in like 6 months you will have a whinge about them f*cking out & then have to get a new set so why not buy some decent ones to begin with?? ksport are a good set i paid 1,1k for mine brand new!

For

approx $416 +Pnh

http://www.ebay.com.my/itm/Gab-HA-Serie ... 1e6936185c

However they are not 2 way adjustable (as far as I know, ask the seller, if they are HA-Bs or HA-2s then they are 2 way) which means that you when you change the height , you change the spring preload aswell.

if you can stretch the budget a bit,

approx $666+pnh

They are the SS's and have 2 way adjustability, ie you can adjust the height via the height thread, and the spring preload (and hence the height) via the spring preload.

Other than that I suggest you look second hand like Res did. Or if your heaps ghetto, you can get coilover sleeves from the US.

for about $250 shipped.

you have to pull the springs outta your stock shocks, and put these on instead.

been in talks with that guy. he wont inc shipping in his price and wont sell through ebay or paypal. it doesnt help that he barely speaks english.

im just pretty much prepping the car for sale so in 8months my car will be in the best shape it could possibly be in so that i get the easiest sale so i want some thing thats height adjustabl

heres a how to install coilover sleeves

I dont think they are popular because they are ghetto haha, its not 2 way adjustable for one, so you are constanly adjusting spring preload if your adjusting height.
and the fact that are held on with little grub screws and O rings, I would definatley not use them for racing. But id be keen to put them on a wreckers set of shocke to see what the fuss is about.

if youre selling up in 8 months dont spend anymore money on the car, save it and put it towards mods for your next car

the springs are a major issue for the car at the moment. the spring bottoms out over every bump and plus i still want to have some fun with my car inbetween that time.
