what did you do on your car today???

Not sure if I'll do any mods to mine its still got a tape player in it.lol

Maybe next few weeks I can post stuff up in here when I get a project car going although wont be a lancer

TOO much! in the past 24 hours!
got new LED parkers (red), installed my audi styled LED's into ymhead lights n wirred em up. and got new 17's :D

why would that be?
they are all on a separate circuit that he would use just for show
(except red parkers maybe... they are defectable)
 
Do your red parkers show over your regular headlights? I've got pink parkers in now, and the HID's i've got block them out completley (although the HID's are defectable anyway i suppose?!) Your less likely to get pulled over if they can't see the little red lights at night!!

HID's are defectable now?

i thort they were only defectable if they went OVER 35w and 8000K ???
 
i heard they are defectable if your car doesnt have them stock... although i dont have proof for this
 
If you don't have washers, auto levellers and projectors (most headlight housings are reflector, not projector) they don't meet ADR and you can be defected for them.

They don't give you a proper cut off with reflectors so you might have really bright lights (not a good thing in bad weather either) but the light will be going all over the place, any dirt on the outside of the headlight will effect it more so than a regular light globe also.

TL;DR version: HID's are *poo* unless they came with your car standard.
 
Well,
I took my car out to the race track to chill with other nice looking cars whilst I watched Round 4 of WADrift lol was good.
 
Haven't done anything to mine in a week cause it's been too wet...but I did get offered a turbo for mine for nix last night...score.
Got a fair bit to do b4 getting it fitted though, brakes being on top of that to do list.
