^^^ was about to say that looks like a UR.

i'm usung a UR 2 point thought about getting the 4 point when i got it in malaysia direct from ur but the awkward shape put me off the ur bars are realy good quality and light as

Definately worth getting.
On another forum for a different species of coupe that is generally a fair bit stiffer than a Lancer to begin with we found that using a strut bar will help the chassis to retain its structural integrity with age.

Wow only $170 for both, they are about that on eBay for just the front one.

Do you have a link?

You'll have to contact Res directly either through his diamond performance facebook page or through the forum :)

Anyone tried doing a carbon wrap of the bar?
I haven't heard of it being done before but anything is possible if you put your mind to it. ;)

I guess not.
Common sense really. Like most products, all manufacturers have different QA tests in place to determine quality etc.

Do they come in different colors... Think I'd have to carbon-fiber wrap mine.
Do what you need to do to make you happy. At the end of the day, you'll be the one driving the car. :)

When I had the wagon, I found that braces, (fender and strut) help when going through angled bit of road like when going from driveway to the road, helps stop the chassis creaking

i think I asked this on facebook but it got buried pretty quick, can anyone be a champ and measure the distance from the boot floor to the rear strut brace if you have one installed?

Definitely not, some are cosmetic, but some are built for strength and rigidity. Normally, the more expensive it is, the better the quality of the product
