R31 drift project (thoughts?)

we still have power steering in your race cars, personal choice i spose
 
If i was running a R31 as track car i would take everything out of it that wasn't necessary.
a. It's a Nissan.
b. It's a drift car, *poo* is going to break; often.
c. Lighter.
d. Would be able to feel the car a little better.
 
bit of an update. this car will be in my yard hopefully this following week some time, it will include A WORKING MOTOR aswell as an rb25 ( W/O gearbox and loom )

also looking into a shell with an lsd and some of the upper model parts for a doner

OR just get sick of the car incredibly quick & get a new project for another week & then make it a paddock basher :oops: not that im talking about myself of corse :angel:

haha yeh tryg, some of us love working on cars. others take it into a shop and expect other people to do it...

but this car is going to be " BUILT NOT BOUGHT "
 
if i had deep enough pockets id let people work on my car... lol do you think Tarzan yamada build the cyber evo?
 
the real owner is a dentist.... :lol:

but this is my project, not a high performance race car world known ( as of yet ;) )
 
I must be the dill of the bunch... I can 'afford' for other people to work on my car, but I just enjoy stuffing things up myself :lol:

In fact, I bought my car (as a shopping trolley - hence second hand), thinking I was going to do NOTHING to it!!!

In hindsight, I COULD have just bought an RA, and that would have ticked most of the boxes I am trying to emulate now!!! :lol:
