problem with my car again

nothing. when you disconnect your battery for a while that resets it, connect it again and whadayaknow, nothing really has changed
 
ok so jazza is saying desconnect the battery and mmc is saying let it run for 10 mins

which 1 should i do
 
k so in the owners Manuel it says that to reset it u have to
1. turn car off
2. unplug the neg terminal for 10 sec
3.check 4 errors
4. let car run on idol for 15mins

this is what i did and i have noticed a change (slightly) in the gearing and acceleration but it isnt really fixing the problem
