Evening all. Newbie here. So having a go at fixing up a ch auto. No fuel issue. New pump in. Still no fuel.
Have tested relays and fuses-all seem fine. Relay one working as getting power to relay 2 Pole 1&3. Pole 4 on relay 2 which earth out through ecu (c122 - purple) is doing just that when cranking-good clean earth there . Have continuity from pole 2 to the pos on fuel pump plug. Ground on plug had tested good as well. So everything checks out.
Yet still no fuel. Cannot get power to fuel pump plug at all. Have gone through harness and all plugs look okay, not bulges in wires that I can see. Was able to jump wire relay 2 and send power to pump-she fired right up. That should rule out wiring or pump issue right? Will run on aero start. Put all back together and still won’t fire. Getting no volts at the pump plug regardless of what I try. Even sending power manually through to pump doesn’t work. Have taken pump unit out tank and bench tested it - works fine even though a bit noisy for a brand new Bosch pump.
Also tested to make sure I’m not losing any earths or lives etc when cranking. Everything checks out. I’m either doing something wrong, missing something obvious or have buggered somethings up somewhere. Any ideas ?? Appreciate any and all help - going mad here
