And al i want is a more aggressive stance ; I'v seen people do it with Volkswagons Nissans even a dam Hyundai but can anyone help me with making it look more aggresive please !

I just bought Superlow King Springs there on there way also was thinking of getting

*20mm Spacers on the front
*25mm Spacers on the back :D

Roll my guards and then some little things but what else can i do?

Thanks for reading guys !

get some mad 'kambur' bro.

spacers are not ideal, but if u must make sure they are "hubcentric"

spacers are a 'last resort' choice

i dont know the full 'mechanical' explanation behind it all (but im sure someone here will)

but from what iv heard they can put undue strain on the bolts that hold your wheel on causing them to weaken if put under too much stress

just get phatter rims if your after the 'flush' look ;)

yeah ces got it spot on, moving the weight of the car towards the outside of the studs obviously is putting more stress on the studs, actually have seen this first hand at work, car came in with 3 snapped studs! the bolt on ones maybe slightly safer than the slip on ones but either way you better off avoiding them if you can
i suggest something win such as a 8.5-9" wide rim with something like a 15 offest? im just guessing those figures since no one really 'stances' lancers.. maybe talk to lilandonaki, his mirage has awesome stance, hellaflush y0.

is there a sticky info thread explaining wheels, sizes, off sets and stuff?
if not i think its time it was created!
muahahahah

LOL, for all those who missed his ride thread, the wheels he has now are new. I doubt he will want to sell them so early. unless of course you want the stance really bad, then sell on and buy some better fitting wheels,

Theres not much else you can do though. You really need rims that are wider than normal, then try to fit them under your guards via pulling guards, adding camber etc to get that look.

sell current wheels
get coilovers
buy 16x8+20ish wheels
stretch a 195 wide tyre on it.
slam car low as desired
roll guards to suit.

oh, and spacers can work if done properly. a proper hubcentric bolt on will put no excess stress on studs. infact a few porsches from the late 80's came with them from factory. you run into problems when you dont have hubcentric rings or use sh!tty slipons

Cesario is correct, the effect is simply a change in leverage point. The further away you sling your weight, the harder those bolts have to work to retain the load..

UNSAFE.

Sorry, round here I am the party killer..,!

we prefer the term wise old man

Anyone who wants stance. Go lilandonakis thread. Hes Went stance and won. If u want stance with those wheels, imo forget it man, ive recently bought some 16x8's with +10 offset. Thatll stance.

Hey guys thanks for all the replies ; the thing is Trondabron is right i just bought these new and i dont have any intention of selling them right away --.-- not only cause i bought them new but my dads abit harder to convice lets just put it like that lol

i was hoping the BOLT ON spacers & maybe rolled guards will give it a better stance then now !

and one more question guys the Superlow Springs would that make it look any better then it is now ?
other then that yous have answered my question no way with these wheels lmao ? haha thanks guys !

superlows will make it worse, as you'll get more natural negative camber so it'll look more sunken

oh and even though bolt on spacers are what you need if you wanted to push your current wheels further out, they're illegal in australia and can void some insurance policies. contact your insurance company to find out.

Ah well then im screwed :/ iv already bought them well to be honest

whats not illegal in australia lol ? Cops even complained about me having custom wheels that my exhaust wasnt eco friendly :/
My Seat belts did not retract all the way ; they even gave me a defect for having a cloth near my engine bay; ( which i use to check my oil) forget that they gave me a defect for having after marker Pedals ; Seriously man why sell all these stuff in Australia if there banded ? or illegal ? Sydney on its own has way to many rules about cars basically you have to keep it stock from market or you'll get a defect; in that case i wont even buy a dam car.

i have superlows. be careful taking the wheels too close to the guards, because my rears tuck. and when i hit bumps, lets just say its not a tight ride. i never scrub, just thinking you might do damage to the tyres against the guards..... +20 is sticking out further than normal, right?
