My GF's New Lancer

Welcome Rhy_boy1. In 1989 the ZX was one of the best production cars on the planet, and still today they look and perform better than many new cars out on the market. I was able to drive one for around a year - back in the 90's when my great uncle was sick. Nice work on the Lancer too.

11.8 stock......um :wtf: If its doing 11.8 down the strip, it aint stock. These cars spool early and launch well to around 100k/hr (5.6-5.9) and then steadily incline after that. They are around a 14 sec car at best. Throw some pics of yours up in a thread. We have Commo's on here with their own thread. At least yours is Japanese - closer to a lancer.
 
I put some Momo seat cover from super cheap on. They fit pretty well and if you have the matching carpets they will look very cool

It's not stock, it just hasn't had mass amounts of things done. Lots of tuning done.

Anyway...

I got some marine vinyl and I bought an old $30 seat from the wreckers.
Gonna tear the seat down and try to re-cover it with some custom made covers.

90% it doesn't work and I suck at i, 10% it works and we have some sweet looking seats.

I'll try keep you guys posted for future reference.

Just got my L.A. shipment in today too (-_-') took long enough.. So I'll be getting my Z back on the road first.
Dono when I'll do seats, but I will do them.
 
Ok, gotcha mate. So, for us oldies then "Shiz" means tuning...... Mine is "shizzed" to 180kw atw. I need to shiz mine more to make it go faster. :D

Mines also shizzed to 180 kws... We can be friends. My friend has an NA zx if I do pod filterz and shiz will it go 12s?

My Z has to run high octane fuel :S Coz its tuned for that....

NA Z's are WAY slower than TT's, dono why, but the turbos make a huge difference.

Aint my Z thats running 11.9, and it really doesn't faze me at all as to your beliefs on the situation :S

lols, sorry just noticed this....
its a sentence that says it doesnt know then goes on to name the thing that it doesnt know :p

ah... my interlectual laughs for the day

its cos they weigh as much as a large ferry :p, and the T's give them alot of extra torque and HP thats needed to move the weight well. same as supras useless without the tsutututu....
