My 2006 Mitsubishi Lancer MY07 (PicHeavy)

I want to change the white L.E.D in my boot to a red one?

All I was asking is; do you take that white plastic cover off and the other L.E.D be behind it?
 
Oh sorry...yes that would work. Why you would do change to red, I dont know. lol. But yeah simply just remove the white plastic cover, then the white LED (it uses a connector i presume) and replace with a red one. Then you're all good to go.

Thanks for reminding me, I need to change my stock one to a white LED too. :thumbup:
 
Haha, no problem.

I just want to see how different it would look. :p For the plastic thing, it feels like it's going to break when I pull it off. Haha.
 
It would look something like this but in the boot:

As you can see its good for aesthetic purposes but not really practical, IMO anyways. I mean who'd want to be rummaging through looking for something at night in a boot that is soaked in red? Not me :) :D

Pioneer is the correct one I assume but I can't remember how the CH one looks like. Maybe a picture of the connectors will help.

Dont worry too much, it should be okay. Worse comes to worst, return it for another plug type. I'll try and look for a diagram.
 
that mitsubishi one looks same as mine, was there one for "lancer" specifically? that had manufactuer years on it?

Nah mate only had 'to suit most late model Mitsubishi' or 'to suit most early model Mitsubishi'.
 
red interior lights are not a very good choice, i have red lights all though mine and i regret it alot. cant see a single thing. if you want a coloured light through your car, go blue if any; still gives off a decent amount of light and isnt the standard white/yellow glow.

Ah ok, will have to do something like that then. Was going to try and keep theme with head unit, but guess that won't work, haha. Cheers man..
 
ill show you one day. i thought it would give off some light but was wrong. i have a light on the roof + 10 leds/neons and still doesnt do justice.
