I think the amazing thing is the gauge cluster lasted this long....
the wire looms are very standard they only change if you have auto trans, but yeah good idea to keep within the same series because the power steering hoses are different fittings and it is just a little easier than having to swap out the hoses, but again it is not hard to swap out especially if you have a complete car...
We did do a 4G93 standard into a mirage but we had gotten a auto trans wrecked car so we swapped over the gearbox with the 4G15 and it is very rev happy the gear ratios make it very responsive... I think if I was going to do another swap I would probably lean towards having a G15 box on it for this reason alone.
you will be surprised as to how many MRs are wrecked around the place.
As for my MR I have given that to my daughter... I am just so busy with paint jobs etc I have put it away for now and will look at it again later so don't hold your breathe for much performance work to come out of my shed... well they won't be my cars anyway
