Lowering via kingsprings

I rebuilt a set of Ralliart Brakes on my CJ, added DBA 4000-series T3 Club Spec rotors, Bendix ultimates and new braided lines... but cost me about $1100

Seems like a lot, but that is as good as you get for a Nanna-spec CJ Lancer.

if you get big brakes, paint them RED! all black car with giant red callipers just looks sick!

Red is sort of the bastion of BREMBO.. painting them red and not having true Brembo is just poseur-value...

Be different!

my 2c is its depends entirely on taste and what the colour scheme of the car will be, for me it was red, black or white as thats my colour scheme and black would hide them and white gets dirty too easy so red was the more fitting choice out fo the 3

Sorry, probably a bit unfair of a comment.. If done well, red can look good... I guess I was referring to those who buy $4 paint and spray it everywhere.. looks tacky. Adds nothing IMHO.

haha.. Oh since i put the new springs in ive had a something that seems loose at the front.. Im not sure what it is because i made sure everything was tight and im pretty sure i put everything in order and well.. But yeah its loose and its un-settling.

How does your your model Lancer's sway bar link to your control arm? Sometimes, when putting these back together, people fail to really seat the sway bar links home (thinking they have done them up). Then, when the link comes under pressure, you will hear a click, click sound....

Either that, or the top suspension strut centre, is not done up tight enough and the mount has too much play...

Check those out.

CE's dont have sway bars from factory?

I reckon it could be the second thing tryg said. The top hat might be dingling around on top of the spring when you go over a bump. Did you make sure the end of the spring lined up at the bottom of the strut? Perhaps it's not on there properly and it's spinning/moving around maybe. Jack the car up and see if you can move anything around with your hand and feel what's loose

Thanks anyway guys got it fixed it was a bearing in the wrong place.. but when i seem to brake the car shutters its nothing to do with the suspension thats fine but yeh dont think its rubbing.. anyone has problems with brakes once lowering their car?

What bearing was it?
I'm gonna be lowering mine hopefully within a week or so, so we'll see
