Looking to buy a CJ lancer...

No leather in this one and why so high for the insurance, mine will be around $500 for the year.

They said you NEED the paint protection on dark cars, I've had a dark blue Lancer for 21 years, apart form stone damage it's still in pretty good shape. Only the roof has been resprayed but the bonnet and boot are still good I for a dark 21yo car. And I haven't really been waxing it, can't remember the last time I did that.

Look after it, try and park in shade when you can and wash regularly and it will last. If I feel the need I'll get a pro to do the exterior later.

Worse case I save up and in a few years paint it yellow!
 
CJs are good cars really nice to drive and are safe if u get the ones with the side airbags eg the VRX if these pics work this was from my T bone crash back in july and i walked away with only bruises and very sore





 
Thats a sad sight.

I like they one of the safest used cars for the price you can buy.

I'm all for driver control and active safety like ABS but often it's the other drivers you need to be more worried about.... I must be getting old LOL
 
Get any colour but silver, it's too bland. Black looks good but is the hardest to keep clean even if you park in a garage.. you'll see every speck of dust haha

looks like its going to be the black one with chrome wheels, first mod is a few cans of Plasti-dip... now what color?
