let me say up front... if you can afford to have the front fitted for you.. then sit back and drink cappuccinos while they do!!

It is an absolute B-I-T-C-H to fit the front... had to relive the engine mounts to get it in...

Rear is a doddle, only 10mins tops...

MRT were selling them at RRP with fitting in last I heard. Might be worth checking them out....

Yeah that one in Rhodes. Looks like I'd be going with the Rear sway bar first instead of the Front Strut.

Hey guys let's bring the post back to life haha, I'm wanting to put a sway bar on my ES CH that doesn't have one. I've read that you need brackets, are they removable on the VRX or are they welded? Was planning on just going to the wreckers to get one but want to know about these brackets before I go and potentially waste time

The brakets are removable according to the parts book and team USA. You will need to drill holes into the camber control arms to bolt the links through. If you are scared to do this (and I would be too for allignement purposes), you can also just buy the arms too. The VRX models all have a rear sway bar, so just jump on one of them. I bought a whiteline rear bar second hand and someone had fitted it to an ES with home made brakets for whatever reason. Ill see if I can dig those up for you too.

My 06 ES had a rear sway bar on it and i swapped it for a whiteline 18mm heavy duty. Unsure why your ES doesn't have a sway bar on the rear
