CE Wagon ?

Hello,

I just bought my first car the other day and have spend the last couple 'o days scanning the net for lancer stuff.

I was just wondering if anyone has had any encounters with a wagon? I see there is plenty for coupe's.

I don't really want to "rice" it out, but I love playing with cars.

from what i can see its a CC Wagon.. welcome to auslancer :)

tip: use photobucket and use the IMG code so u can see the whole image not just a little bit of it.. :)
 
I've always seen a Yellow CC Wagon in a car yard on Parramatta Road. Everytime I drive past, I literally stare at it amongst the other cars there :)
 
looks good, i had a wagon as my 1st car, they are useful for sleeping at parties, chuck a matress in the back
also good for massive sound systems and storing tools in the back if ur a trady

looking at that pic i can see a few things

1.paint mirrors & door handles to match color of car

2.remove pinstripe gay thing

3.clear side blinkers

4.remove stone gaurd on bonnet

5.remove bump strip on doors

6.take orange casing out of blinkers

7.slam it on it guts

if you do these pretty much free mods it will look awesome-ley awesome in my books but i havent seen the back yet so also would debadge it :)

Where bouts are you located mate? the one i've seen is basically on the intersection of George St and Parra Rd at North Strathfield. Not sure if its still there.
 
Im in Annadale/Stanmore on P'matta Rd. I turn off onto the M4 so i just miss it. Ill keep my eyes out.

I have a set off clear side lights on there way.

I had a go at removing the orange from the blinkers the other day but its all sealed up, any tricks?
Will the bump strip on the doors have little pins/plugs/studs/things to clip into the door and leave holes, or will it just peel an adhesive like badging?

I cant slam it any more LOL, I have trouble getting in my garage as it is.
 
if its a 99 model it should be a CE... but to me it looks like like a CC... check the plate in the engine bay it will say the year manufactured.. that should clear things up! :) if its 96 or older CC 96-03 CE
i think the seller may have told you the car is something its not?..

anyways with the mods choko said it will be lookin sweet :)
 
Oh cool I drive up there every afternoon to pick up my mum close to the Empire Hotel.

Nice on the clear side blinkers, good start and cheap.
 
The plate on the firewall says both CE and 1999.
What makes you think its a CC? the front bar? I'm a noob at Mitsubishi's :?

tip for taking out the orange thing is really take the blinker out & just as careful as you can break the orange casing i used a screwdriver & a bit of force then it should either A. shatter or B. break off the "pins" then you have to get like somthing sharp in there & break little bits of the edges etc till its small enough too come out really time consuming but well worth it in the end just dont do what MOR31 did & break the orange case & the blinker case & nearly stab his leg lol

EDIT: & yea its a ce alright but has a cc front :? & only one way to find out about the bump strips :thumbup:

ahh this clears it up wikipedia :thumbup: "The station wagon continued on as a CE model, even though it was essentially carried over from the previous generation." il now delete my other posts so ur thread is spam free :lol:

Yes that is correct...

Best example of the lancer wagon is EVL45... Which was later stolen from harbourtown and burnt.
 
There used to be a baby blue one as well back in the day that made Hot 4's, don't know if it was the same one Sam's talking about. I used to love that car.

i was trying to google that had a white interior & rims like my old diablo's? & tucked massive rim in the back? plates were OBSERV i think i loved that thing
