Okay most of you are probably annoyed with me already, but knowledge is the key to success. So deal with it. :mrgreen:
Make an Evo look-a-like with evo suspention .
The idea Vs The Problem.
First the Idea
Wide body kit Evo 6 by Accolade with Tomme Makinen Front bumper
Fast n Furious rear spoiler from green car paul walker drives but 3 "shourter in heigh
(this i have no say is what the GF wants)
For looks this about covers it until she finishes her sketches on how the vinyl/paint should look
(there is about 60 pages of what she calls crappy idea :S)
Next we have hardware/software
Engine (N/A to broke)
Interior;
Black and red Suede <Fading so were working this out
dynamatting whole car (boot and doors done)
Riccardo semi bucket seats with evo rear seats (likes the design with center holster)
blue under dash lights and under rear seats (essentially floor wells light up) with red bulbs behind dash to light gages
New carpet in Red Thick Suede with sown in floor mats
Running Gear;
Tien front/rear "Evo mounts" Suspension (layby so to late now) :think:
Brembo 260mm Rotors and Calipers to fit under 17" rims Give or take, plus 2/4 piston.
After market trailing arms etc. something in the liks of these images
Upper and lower if applicable* this is the problem
Hubs to be 5 stud after swap out
So all 4 wheels will be running Evo suspension This is the Idea.
The dream is a Evo Hybrid Show car
<- dont knock it, Dont tell me or the missus to buy a evo, not everyone has 15K+ to spend out rite then spend money to build apon it OKAY!, we only have a few thousand every month or so to spend, so we are building a hybrid, dont like it, dont comment :lolno:
The Problem;
and some of these will already be covered.
The idea i have so far from all the nice people in chat is Get proton trailing arm, knuckles, lines, upper/lower trailing arms, calipers/rotors etc...
This is all well and good, BUT!
Keep this simplified. i dont need to know about 4x110 or 5x113.3 etc.. that gets covered when we buy rims to suit the upgrade ncluding offsets to make everything flush.
Just keep it simple like "yes you can do this but dont forget this" or "you may need to get it fabricated as it wont fit but do this instead as it's easier"
OK so for the Suspension the front of the car is bent, it had a stack a few years ago and no matter how it is tuned by what ever business it shakes a little
so we are wanting to Put an EVO front end and rear end in the car for two+1 reasons
1.) Future proof the suspension for another 10 years
2.) Safety
3.) It's Evo its synonymous with Quality :thumbup:
so what i need to know in the most simple terms is;
Are there after market evo 5/6 parts that bolt on as a CE replacement and what parts "exactly" will i need.
Something like this aftermarket kit.
We prefer "NEW" but not a big deal
So far i assume i will need to buy.
Front and rear After market lower/upper trail arms. if available and what ones will fit.
front and rear knuckles that will fit for the required goal.
Uper and lower Control arms tie rods etc..
(rear knuckles im sure cant be used from a evo cause of the rear drive shaft's correct?)
front rear Evo 5/6 hubs 5 Stud if not already on it.
Cables
Brake booster 1"+
Anything else i may be missing.
Images would be much appreciated even links for exactly what to buy would be even better
