I'm keen to get some ideas from what others have already done with theirs so anyone want to show off their intakes??? I'd love to see some pics, particularly if you have a shielded or boxed type set up.
Cheers

I have 2 intake.

3inch silicone tubing to the MAF then to a POD
Pod - 3inch tubing (from the front guard) - MAF - 2.5 inch.

i have 3in piping to MAF sensor and the more 3in to the bottom left of the front bar.

pod filter, fully enclosed 3.5" pipe to the bumper in the fog light grill facing forward. so lots of air gets up in it when i drive ^^

michael posted? james dean was here? chocko had a lancer? john had 4 cyl? yeah this IS old

Our cars are old but it doesnt mean its not relevant still... I think mighty car mods did a test to find that pod filters wernt that beneficial on lower performance cars

No it was no different. Did fuark all. The only time you would use a pod is if you dont have the space for a panel filter.

This is interesting, Pod filters are not all they are cracked up to be. Even the non-paper panel ones might not be worth the extra money.

People just believe that because it creates a hectic intake sound it translates to more power lol

Love how they said loosing weight would give you more of a performance increase.

I was going to get a K&N Panel filter but not sure if it's worth it, plus the whole oil on the sensor issue.
