$60 each.. you will need two. mine only cost $30 for a pair

Also, have these;

A jack (trolley jack is better for speed) definite in every garage
car stands also definite in every garage
torque wrench its called my arm
Assorted Sockets/Spanners (both ring and open)
ratchet spanners if you can afford them :D

You don't need ratcheting spanners for this job!!!

Fark Ryan... do you ring Snap On every time you do a simple job !?!?

Get bc's off hens for 1200 for a set delivered then pay a shop $250ish to install if can't do it yourself. then you'll have $500 extra left over to play with. I'll only charge you $20 for that lesson and you'll still be $480 ahead lol

hmmm ok then why would i be better off getting BCs over pedders if they are from same factory?
@BI65ND id like to take you up on the offer champ :) im keen on learning it how ever never done it before and just not sure what todo :(
even if i get the pedders ones they said they are $1850.00AUD for the parts only.

Pretty simple, if they're from the same factory, why would you pay more for the same thing? BC's from Hens are cheaper, so therefore they're the better choice.

Lol dude it was a joke about the maths lesson haha, not the lesson on how to install them. Was saying 1200 + 250 for a shop to install them is cheaper than 1950 installed

Ed: but yeah if you want a lesson in how to put them in can do, but my rates are a bit higher than $20

I thought BC had an aluminium body and the Pedders are a full-steel body.

that maybe true

it was only when i went to my local pedders the guy said to get the BC's as the they were the same just different sticker for cheaper and if i want wanted he'd fit them for cheap

Not really relevant about pedders but good bit of info

I just installed some BCs in my brothers car to replace his Fulcrum coilovers, other decent brands are DGR and GAB, also Megan Racing are ok

Ive used Ksport, D2, G4s and Teins currently i have G4s in my car untill i get the BCs

Ksport, D2 and G4s all have alloy bases, BC and Tein are steel

Ksports were good, until the ball joints in the tops wore out, so needed to be replaced

D2s were too hard, G4s i havnt tested but have heard mixed things about them, Teins were soft even when settings were hard

Ive heard of D2s bending and snapping, but then again i dont know if they have been installed right and set correctly

Seriously, these things are not impossible to fit with the right equipment; jack, stands, torque wrench, socket set and spanners... Because you are one-for-one swapping, you don't even need spring compressors...and it will only take a few hours to do.

There would be a few members on here, that are very comfortable doing this type of work, who might help you.

its piss easy (for the fronts), rears are a bit harder but its still very doable if u have a set of tools

well im going down to pedders in penrith on monday to have a chat with the guy there to see what they are like an stuff...
id be happy to get the BCs just never bought from hens before :(

Henry is a great guy, as i and many other forum members will attest to. He knows his stuff and won't rip you off

just realise that these things are not ADR compliant... I am not a doomsayer, but you can technically get defected for having these and not having them engineered (if that is at all possible).

I am pretty sure the BC coilovers are aluminium bodied, not wholly steel, like the Pedders... not that it would matter too much, they're all fairly well engineered.

Henry would be a lot cheaper than Pedders, their stuff is wildly overpriced, due to their store-front/premises rent, franchises leasing and horrendous markup in sale prices...

Good luck.

This, I rang him about noon one day asking about extractors, drove to his place about 2pm, he gave me a spin in his Mirage, n i took home my new exhaust !

hehe, now that is customer service.. much better than other businesses I have dealt with... even Mitsubishi Specialists whom I will not mention here!
