Upgrading headlight globes

Hi all,

I Purchased my Lancer CE MR a few months ago. Loving it, only problem being the other night i went for a drive it was sprinkling and realised i couldnt see much

I couldnt even see my headlights at all i had to get out double check that they where on, i could see heaps more just from other cars breaklights

Can anyone suggest a good set of cheap lights? Its my first car so dont have heaps more to spend on it just want a set of healights that are good and cheap

Not concerned about illuminating a mouse in a tree 600m away just want to be able to see
 
Do you have glass or plastic headlights? If glass 100w bulbs may be your answer. Philips is generally good for a fiddy
 
Nah plastic
They have a reflector thing on the front of where the bulb sits that reflects the light onto the reflector.... Dumb
 
I have used the 100watters in plastic headlights before. I just dont use highbeam under 80kph. Will be bright enough you dont need to really
