Ultra Racing Bars

I am sure a lot of you know about these Malyasian-made bars, made of steel (not aluminium).

I have 11 of them in my car and can vouch for their ability to flatten out the ride, reduce body roll and understeer.

Here is a company link:http://www.ultraracing.com.my/template.asp?menuid=30

This link demonstrates how each bar works.

Be careful buying from eBay, I have noticed a few fakes getting around already!

The front 4-point hangs below the 100mm ground clearance allowance, local QLD law, is the only part of my car that is illegal

Not doing anything except showing what works for me!

I have found all the above work really well...

Not sure if I want these, I will probably get another brand, which EVO owners buy.. because it follows the underpinning parcel shelf structure, rather than just cutting across the floor of the boot.

thats alot of bars, it would be good to put one on at a time so to feel the difference each one makes

Thats a *poo* load of bracing never knew they did ones for behind the front guards. Learn something new everyday.

NICE AS said:

im trying to think what they really do

They would provide bracing between the cabin (Which is generally quite stiff) and the shock towers.

Tryg did you source them through the Aus dealer or oversea dealer.

Have no idea on prices but KL you would be thinking be cheaper to get from even including postage.

cheap to get them from eBay, but watch for fakes...

I bought most of mine through a club buy (on another club)

I also don't have the cabin bar.. but that would ruin the footwell area for the rear passengers.

I actually did put mine in one-at-a-time. I noticed a distinct progressive improvement.

As I said, maybe our new friend from Malaysia can help us get some information, via a few local phone calls!?

They work out a lot cheaper than even cheap rubbishy eBay ones... and work a lot better....

Andrew... mass buy?! There are about 5 CJs on this site !!!

Oh wait... 4 that may not have these...

It wouldn't be that much more expensive if you just went alone and bought from eBay..

Good luck
