Should I lower my 02 Lancer?

Everything looks better lowered
don't get springs, save for coils or you'll regret it in the long run. everyone has made this mistake and will tell you the same thing!
if you're hell bent on springs then get superlows in kingsprings or pedders. might want shocks too as lowered springs will kill your stock ones but thats pricy so just get coils imo

You can get a set of 4 springs for 250-300 brand new off ebay delivered. Yes they would kill your shocks, but they'd only need replacing every 50,000kms or so depending on how hard a life they have. That's like once every 2-3 years, are you gonna have the car that long?
but also the ride is terrible, bottoming out everywhere and they're really springy so if people sit in the back it'll lower your car another 15-20mm and the wheels will be scraping on the guards in corners. just save yourself the pain and get coils. the best coils for the price would be yellowspeeds, look into these man

I haven't been able to find any springs for the LS on eBay. Are they the same as the VRX? for the 2002 CG model of course

springs for just aesthetics, coils for actual handling.
everything looks better lowered, and for me it's worth suffering through the 5 speed bumps to get into my street.

You don't need to worry about the variant of your CG, all CG suspension is the same. I believe it's the same as CH too if I'm not mistaken. Either way CG springs will fit no matter what kind of CG you have.

when i had super lows on my stock shocks, they were fine with stock springs on them but as soon as i put super lows in, they died completely within a few weeks. bouncy as fk. over speed bumps it was 5-6 bounces after going over. it was just downright embarrassing let alone getting pissed off at how bad the ride is. when i took the shocks out the rear ones were leaking real badlyrigby said:

Speed bumps aren't that bad. Its more like dips, cracks and potholes in the road that make the drive ridiculously uncomfortable. It just jerks around like crazy and feels like your suspension mounts are literally going to explode every time you hit a pothole.
Its like going on a really, really old rollercoaster.
Edit: I wish I bought coilovers.
