Lukey Muffler?

When i first got mine done, was $320

The ultraflows tend to go for about 113-120 depending on size, length, baffles etc.

If you want it quieter but still the performance, ask for a perforated 8 inch resonator.
 
ok i don't know what everyone has against cannons. yes people tend to go to super cheap and autobarn and buy them from there for $60 and yes they are crap. but i went to my local exhaust shop and he puller my drift one i got from autobarn off and let me hold it to feel the weight and then cut it open to show me how sitly that it was build, he then proceded to show me their cannons that they have it weighed about 3 times the amount the drift one did and thats coz it was made a hell of a lot better. so when i changed from a sing system to a twin system i when and spend $250 each on their cannons because they were really good quality and they don't sound like a fart or anything, it all depends on quality. i had my father pick up my car one day and drop it off to me at work and a mate i work with has a wrx and he thought it was his wife driving in to see him went out to see her and found my dad with my car. it really goes to show that for some quality items it doesn't come cheap. and to prove that i don't have a fart noise coming form my cannons i will film them tomorrow for u all and upload the video so u can all see that only the cheap cannons are completely useless and utter crap i found out the hard way when i first went out and got a cheap cannon because that was the noob thing to do i have learnt from those times. but not all cannons are bad

I've got a redback in mine and im pretty happy with it as stated before. Sounds mean. I don't think they are very expensive though so you shouldn't be paying big bucks for em.
 
my mate got a sports exhaust done and it sounds really tinny when her gets the revs up, btw he has a 2005 ls lancer with the 2.5 mivec in it

I feel like im repeating myself here by saying thats the stock extractors. Doesnt matter how good a fart cannon sounds inside going past people theyd be like ugh that sounds like crap. Dont be a sheep be a tuner ;)
 
mine sounds like a fart when revving it fast on the spot. when you actually floor it going somewhere it sounds good
 
it all depends on the quality of the cannon most people oftern opt out for the cheaper one beause well they are cheap, if they went and got a decent one people wouldn't complaing about them every 10 seconds. and as dawson said i have dual ones and they don't sound too bad
 
i havt got a cannon. just a basic "sports" muffler. dont even remeber the brand, but for 200 bucks w/stainless steel piping and a tip. im not complaining
 
thats right licky u don't need the brand name things u will get some better ones that are no name from ur local exhaust shop

Used to have a canon on my previous car and whilst I was never going fast/enough etc to really get the cops to pull me over, it no doubt attracted their attention as I went past them.

Now have a magnaflow on my CJ and I would certainly recommend not getting a cannon. A decent sports muffler system will still make a nice sound under acceleration but it isn't anywhere near as loud (good luck finding a canon that's legal) and you can travel at freeway speeds in peace without an annoying drone...

So yes good choice of system. Personally the two brands I would always recommend are Lukey (for mild steel) and Magnaflow (for s/steel)

it defently isn't twice as bad, it has even had support saying it doesn't sound like that, just because u don't like them is ur own problem don't go round saying that about everyone who has a cannon because soem people opt out for the cheap ones. i dobt that u would say that about a cannon on a gtr or somethign liek that
