Great DIY, just in time for me to do my 5 stud swap :D
With all this 5 stud going on I'm starting to feel left out :(

Joining the mile high club
I'd like to but i think it will have to wait a couple of months, might have some other car related stuff happening soon ;)

Rears are just the same as doing a normal 4 stud rear disc conversion, should already be a DIY thread or two on here on that so I didn't bother with it. It's easy, remove the 4 bolts holding the trailing arms in place, swap the handbrake cables over, re-bolt the 4 bolts back in. Done

:why: firstly great DIY mate. visual and concise.
secondly, do the fto handbrake cable fit for ce lancer sedans? or will i have any problems?
thanks in advance.

Might be short in the sedans. Proton sedan ones will work tho.

Lay them along your sedan cables. The sedan ones should be a bit longer.

:| doing some research before the conversion mate. anyways thanks for your help
Ah fair enough. But with the sedan you will need sedan cables from a proton sedan. Or evo1-3 cables.

Any idea what stock steel wheel thats 5x114.3 fits over 276mm brakes?

Stock Mitsubishi? 5x114 Evo wheels all fit, FTO wheels fit. I'd imagine the alloys that came with 5x114 CH/CG models would fit as i believe they had 276mm brakes, GTO wheels i assume, CJ and Outlander wheels probably do too provided they are over 15".

Yea but not as a spare wheel

Sorry misread and didn't realise you specifically meant steel. I assume you want a spare wheel? FTO and Evo both have space savers and i'm guessing the 5x114 CH/CG might have full size spares that may possibly work.
