Wiring Diagram For Head Unit in a 2008 VR CJ

Hi everyone, i recently bought a 2008 Lancer CJ VR, i am planning to install a subwoofer system into it. I have spent many hours trying to find a wiring layout diagram for the head unit, so that i can see which wires are for what speakers, i just cant find one, so if anyone could help that would be great.

I had wiring diagrams but I had found that the wire colours weren't accurate often to what was in the car. Easiest way is to just buy an aftermarket harness and then work out from its colours which wires on the factory harness are the rear speakers. Otherwise, tap the wear speakers where the wires go into the rear door but you are probably going to have to take the door skin off to see which colour wires are on the speakers and then the B pillar covers off.\

Personally I would go for the option of buying a harness and using that to match up the wires. Then when funds allow, install a better double DIN head unit and you'll already have the harness needed to wire it in....

Not to hijack the thread but how hard is it to install a sub/amp in the CJ?
I have a VRX with the 6disc stock unit.

I'm thinking Sub in the boot, might build my own enclosure. I would love to get my hands on a factory sub but have been told it can't be used and is expensive compared to some after market systems.

My eventual play would be a double DIN touch screen with all the options but for now I'm thinking better sound from the stock HU.

Just keep saving and do it all once and do it right. (Ie new deck amped speakers and sub in one hit) however, installing a sub is a piece of cake, yu just need to find the right wires behind the deck to tap off for the line output converters and then run RCA cable to the boot. Lilewose you need to run a power cable to the boot.

Also the factory sub is gutless and the enclosure rattles something major when a bigger sub is put in. If you have rhe skills by all means make a proper enclosure but research about the ideal soze and porting first. Otherwise buy a premade sub and enclosure and use brackets to screw it in.
