Where does your Lancer temp sit for normal running ?

Just been doing a radiator and heater core flush and checked the thermostat and somehow it has a 90c thermo in it, the temp always sits happily 1 bar below the halfway mark, just curious if the Lancers temp all sit around there or lower. All cars are different I guess, but the last 2 different cars i've owned the temp is way down in the lowwer 1st quarter. Will changing the thermostat to an 80c bring down the happy running temp at all. or is where it's at where it's good.

A touch less than halfway on the cluster is the normal level for operating coolant temps for all CEs. Some show a bar above or below the midway point, but generally more below.

Thanks, been a nagging curiosity for the past few years, with no way of knowing without a forum like this.
