So Ive been trying to hunt down some wheels.... not as easy as it sounds :(

I really like lilandonaki's wheels, IMO they suit Mirages really nicely.
So I went onto the XXR website and found these..
Whats everyone's thoughts? To me they look like the old skool Contesa wheel that the Ford Escorts use to have on them.

If your reading this lilandonaki, Can I ask what your exact wheel size is, and tyre size as well.

I'm new to buying decent wheels, Ive always just been happy with the "sale" Bob Jane stuff, but would rather have something nicer on the rage.
So all this offset, Stretched tyres stuff is new to me as well.

Any help is very much appreciated.
 
lilandonaki's wheels are 16x8 +20, his running 205/45/16 tyres.. slight stretch

my wheels are the same specs as above, but im running 215/45/16 with very minimal stretch

But what does "stretched" mean

go here, click the different sizes to see just how much stretch different sizes have. none of them include wheel offset, just wheel width, then tyre specs.

the stretch/appearance of a stretched tyre can also depend on the brand and style of tyre

best peice of advice: dont go to tempe tyres.

16x8+20 is spot on for a CE. wish i did end up getting grids for mine years ago.

id run a 195/45 tyre too, but thats just me. 205 will be ok too.
 
Lachy is spot on: 16x8 +20, with Maxxis MAV-1 tyres in 205/45/16.

If you going to get some XXR's, look up "NLMotoring"'s Ebay store.
XXR's website doesnt list smaller then 17", and NLMotoring's website said $999 incl. delivery. NLMotoring's ebay store however, was around 800 or 850 incl. postage.
 
If ur a sydney boy, go down to jdm yard. They sell lilandonakis wheels for 940, bit more expensive than off ebay or whatever but have them in stock so u cut out postage and what not.
